If you’re like me, you lead a really hectic life and aren’t always able to make it to the gym for a full workout! Don’t despair, just keep a few key pieces of equipment on hand so you can workout from home … there really is no excuse! I think it’s important for everyone who wants to lose weight or stay in shape to make things fail-proof. Even if you just get in a few minutes while making supper, it’s still WAY better than having done nothing!
If you don’t have all of the items listed below, you can still get in a good workout. Use your body weight and perform some pushups and squats. Use water bottles or tin cans as weights … the possibilities are endless! Workout videos and dancing in your living room are also great ways to get in a workout without having to leave the house! Don’t forget sit-ups, no equipment is needed for basic sit-ups! 😀
My home gym includes:
– Dumbbells – various weights
– Exercise ball – 2 sizes
– Medicine ball
– Elastic bands
– Yoga mat
– X-Box Kinnect with various exercise games including Zumba!
– Countless workout videos
